Description:

L-Ergothioneine(EGT) is a rare natural amino acid, which cannot be synthesized by the human body and needs to be ingested from the outside world, especially in the Ergot fungus and pine mushroom. They are highly protective to cells, non-toxic, and are not easily oxidized in water, which makes them stimulate the natural antioxidant defense system of cells in certain tissues.

EGT is more efficient in inhibiting lipid peroxide formation than coenzyme Q10 and clears ROO more than 550%  better than GSH.

EGT has a stronger scavenging capacity for H202 and UVA-induced peroxides than allobenzone, and a 90% higher scavenging capacity for hydroxyl radicals than trolox.
